A vicious rat

Cliff Hughes proves again he is one of
the best journalists alive.

Unlike those who question and bait, Mr. Hughes has
the acumen to perceive when a guest is going to deconstruct.

Dwight Nelson has always been a very small man with
a small man's mentality. He ought never have been
entrusted with any form of power, yet, is created
Minister of National Security.

On Impact the other night, Nelson seemed
to be channeling Hitler, with his loud blather
and rudeness, refusing to allow others to speak,
and slapping away the murders of citizens, their
denial of liberty with a smugness that was terrifying.

Eventually, the other guests, Peter Bunting of
the PNP and Suzanne Goffe of Jamaican's for
Justice realised Nelson would never shut up,
never allow them to speak, and dare they try
he would outshout them.

Hence, they resorted to speaking as if Nelson
was no more than a loud nasty sound system in the background.

Other hosts would have tried to keep Nelson's
hysteria in check, but Hughes, realising it was
more important for the public to witness the
character of the man who holds virtual life
and death over the citizens.

Mr. Golding has made a grievous error in
appointment. I suggest he get a copy of Impact
aired on the 22nd and view it for his elucidation.

With this kind of madman in the seat of power,
State of Emergencies turn Jamaica into Nazi Germany.
