One and One Equals Two

Those who invested their souls into the JLP circus have been bending their brains into pretzels, trying to make what is unconscionable into acceptable.

They seem unable to appreciate a Treaty is a Contract between Two Governments, and that no one but a Government has the locus standi to bring any sort of 'case' whether lobbying or rejecting a position.

They can not believe that Saint Bruce lied about hiring Manatt to fight an extradition proceeding. And as Manatt said it was not Chris Coke who was the subject, then who was it?

Bruce Golding has been named a Criminal Associate of Chris Coke. This was published by ABC and tho' the Golding Administration makes squawks about suing, the fact is, they can do an Oscar Wilde if they are so minded.

The tragedy is the destruction of the intellects of those who so devoutly wished to believe in St. Bruce and his band of angels.

So You Want To Be A Capitalist?

Jamaicans are probably the worst business people
on Earth. If it isn't a monopoly it must lose.

If it is a monopoly people try their best to
avoid paying for the product/service. This is
because prices are set on HAP.
High As Possible.
A guy could run a cable for 2k.
He'll claim it costs 22K and charge the Earth.
A guy will raise the price of fertiliser to 2k
a bag from $50 and until people stop buying,
he'll keep raising.

A Jamaican will spend xyz on decor, and Zero
on training workers.

If it isn't the minimum wage waitress or clerk
which chases the customers, it's the moronic
manager and his/her idiotic 'policies'.

Foreign based companies with ex-pat CEOs can
grasp business opportunities. Even a semi-local,
that is a person who migrated here a few decades
ago, or is the child of those who did,
understands one sets their prices to sell goods
...seeing goods as 'Dead Money.'

Where a foreign minded owner will see that the
Whatsit is still on the shelves after two months
and drop the price,a local doesn't notice this.

Where a foreign minded owner will exploit its
rival's weaknesses and enter a 'price war', the
local will make sure he sells his goods for the
same price the other charges.

It is hysterically funny to watch a Jamaican
run a business. No matter what it is, he'll run
it into bankruptcy.

Where in other parts of the world, the location
of a business is a main asset, in Jamaica it is
the 'cheapness' of the rent or the fact they own
this building so will close the rented premises,
even where the location of the rented premises
is what gets the business, not the goods.

This Bank, for example, was the only one for
over twenty miles. It had a good customer base.
But as the premises were rented the Bank moved
to mid-ghetto and customers left in droves.

Duh.

This restaurant was popular because of its
friendly atmosphere and good prices. The
manager was replaced by a gal the owner was
boffing, and prices were raised to deal with
the fall off in business. When it closed it
was only the building that sold, for the
business had no value.

Capitalists know to maximize profits and cut
losses. Jamaicans don't know where the profits
come from and what causes the losses.

Many large local businesses make much of their money
renting out their space. The products are losses,
the services are accidental, the rent paid is what
keeps the business afloat.

You know they'll raise the rent, the tenants will leave.

A business (wo)man will know her customers, and when
one of them complains, it is cheaper to give him a free
whatever than argue about the complaint.
A Jamaican will have to be right, so will make the
customer wrong, so he doesn't come back.

It never fails.

We Want Oppression!!!

TVJ did a poll.
The overwhelming majority wants the State of Emergency.
The overwhelming majority wants the State of Emergency extended.
The overwhelming majority believes the Police behaved unprofessionally.
The overwhelming majority believes the Police exceeded their powers.

Four Thousand people were scraped up and detained.
Some were detained since May.
Some from June.
Some from early July.

Sixteen people were charged.

The overwhelming majority of Jamaicans believe that the denial of liberty from citizens is the price to pay for security. The majority of Jamaicans....
have no problem with Oppression.

The majority of Jamaicans are poor and likely to be picked up in a street sweep.
The majority of Jamaicans are probably sad that slavery was abolished.

A vicious rat

Cliff Hughes proves again he is one of
the best journalists alive.

Unlike those who question and bait, Mr. Hughes has
the acumen to perceive when a guest is going to deconstruct.

Dwight Nelson has always been a very small man with
a small man's mentality. He ought never have been
entrusted with any form of power, yet, is created
Minister of National Security.

On Impact the other night, Nelson seemed
to be channeling Hitler, with his loud blather
and rudeness, refusing to allow others to speak,
and slapping away the murders of citizens, their
denial of liberty with a smugness that was terrifying.

Eventually, the other guests, Peter Bunting of
the PNP and Suzanne Goffe of Jamaican's for
Justice realised Nelson would never shut up,
never allow them to speak, and dare they try
he would outshout them.

Hence, they resorted to speaking as if Nelson
was no more than a loud nasty sound system in the background.

Other hosts would have tried to keep Nelson's
hysteria in check, but Hughes, realising it was
more important for the public to witness the
character of the man who holds virtual life
and death over the citizens.

Mr. Golding has made a grievous error in
appointment. I suggest he get a copy of Impact
aired on the 22nd and view it for his elucidation.

With this kind of madman in the seat of power,
State of Emergencies turn Jamaica into Nazi Germany.

How It Happens

Every Tyrant enters office joyfully carried on the backs of
lumpen.

Every reactionary piece of legislation is supported by those who
have the most to lose.

Whether the Tyrant is Hitler or Mugabe, whether the legislation
the Gun Court in Jamaica or the Patriot Act in America, the
lumpen vehemently supports whatever will limit his rights.

Where the Intelligent considers how policies or legislation could impact on his or her life, the lumpen believes in a nebulous 'Them'
who will experience oppression.

"If they come for me in Morning..."

Do these mind dead morons prancing about as if a State of
Emergency is a good thing begin to comprehend what a police
state looks like?
Do they understand the base intellect of a police officer?
Do they understand that all cats are grey in the dark?

In civilised places the usual procedure is to gather evidence,
arrest and charge and detain.

In Jamaica the double digit cop flings unknown people scraped up
in a street sweep into a lockup and over a period of months finds
a charge, arrests, then gathers evidence.

Over 1000 citizens of Jamaica lose their liberty, and after one
or two or three months in custody, detained under this 'State
of Emergency', charges are now laid, arrests are now made, and
after one or two or three months in custody, these citizens
will face a Court which will see nothing peculiar about the
time of detention, and order the person returned to a cell, a
trial date sent a few months hence.

And after spending six months or so in jail, brought to Court
on the first trial date, where no witnesses appear, it is not
likely the accused will get bail.

Because the charge will contain the magic word 'Gun'.

Serving a two year pre-trial sentence is not unusual in Jamaica.

The Lumpen, those most likely to be taken up in street sweep and
incarcerated while a charge is searched for, are angry that PNP
did not agree to extend the State of Emergency for thirty days,
requesting rather fifteen.

During the State of Emergency; soldiers armed for Iraq up the
side streets, doing road blocks insuring any tourist will
understand that Jamaica is no place for a vacation.

Jamaicans have so fully embraced the absence of rights
that slavery could be reimplemented without much quarrel.

Manatt More

The fact that Bruce Golding lied about hiring the law firm, keeps cycling.
Of course, outside of a small population of persons who can define the
term 'morality', most shrug.
Politicians lie.
Rain falls.
Fire burns.
Politicians lie.

One wonders if Jamaicans really believe that the money to pay this high
priced American law firm came from the JLP coffers.

It is our tax dollars, it is from the Consolidated Fund.

I wonder how long it is going to take before some one actually does the
paper chase to find out where the money came from.

And the Law firm now claims it wasn't hired to deal with the Chris Coke
matter...um...who else? Whom were they hired for, then?

Bruce Golding?

The depths of Stupidity

With people as stupid as Jamaicans
one still is amazed at the abyss.
When Bruce sent the Gestapo into Tivoli one of the minor nazis
found a copy of the extradition request.
Right there on the Pressi's desk.

It was found, it was mentioned on Television, some little Nazi waved it around.

So now when the Ex-Commish speaks of how Dudus was alerted,
the current Minister of Insecurity threatens legal action.

This is because Jamaicans are too stupid to remember way back
last month
when the nazis found the document.

1984 has arrived in Jamaica.

Official Secrets

The Ex Comish busts.
Says what we all knew but couldn't prove.
The little rat who was appointed to be the Minister
of Insecurity is angry.
Angry because it is true.

When the little cops found a copy of the extradition
request in Dudu's office, how did they think it got
there?

Who did they think sent it?

The Reverand Al Miller

there are more churches in Jamaica than Rum Bars.
And there are a Lot of Rum Bars in Jamaica.

The usual Church is what is called 'Pentecostal'
which means there's a loud mouthed preacher
babbling crap over a mic to frightened
illiterate sluts and putz in the audience.

It is not a church where knowledge of Scripture
is necessary. It's a church designed to suck
people in and give pastor a source of income.

Anyone can be a Pentecostal Minister.

I say all this to set the scene for Al Miller.
Who is this Reverand?

He's a loud mouthed preacher as corrupt as they
come. He has a large following and is quite
wealthy.
He likes attention so does and says everything
he can to get the cameras in his face.

He made himself the Chaplin to the football
team, because this was a good way to get attention.

The Prime Minister, not known for his integrity,
appointed this guy to a virtual integrity
commission to deal with Values and Attitudes.

This Commission met in the Prime Minister's Office.

When Al Miller was stopped on the road by the
police, playing chauffeur for Chris Coke...yes,
that Chris Coke, known as Dudus, wanted by the
Police, the subject of an Extradition Request
since August 2009, he told a facile lie.

That it was a lie was evident.

Firstly, for him to be 'bringing in a fugitive'
without telling anyone is not something one does.
One informs some high enough ranking police
officer, who then will inform the others, and
all arrangements are made to receive the accused.

The Commission of Police; Ellington, spoke to
his Officers to prove this was not done.

Clearing, Ellington is not part of the
'Inner Circle' and either doesn't know that
there is an Inner Circle, or does and
pretends he doesn't.

This Act alone is probably what will advance
his dismissal at some later date, because what
Al Miller does is sanctioned by the Prime
Minister.

That Dudus wore a silly wig suggests some
kind of disguise was deliberately used.
And one wonders how many other times as
Al Miller played chauffeur for Chris Coke.

The 'taking him to the American Embassy'
was on the face of it a lie, as the Embassy
closes very early in the day, this was
four p.m. and no one at the Embassy was
aware of this visit.

That Al Miller was subsequently charged
is a paean to the police. Uually, people
of his stature are not charged, and their
only use of the police is as body guards and go-fors.

Al Miller actually resigned his position
in the Integrity Committee.
This is the most shocking part of the
whole story.
This seems to suggest that there is some
sense of right and wrong within him, unless
the PM told him to do it, and he obeyed.

The prosecution is going after him with the
level of rightness; having established the
above points.

If he is convicted it will be a slap on the
wrist, because he is Al Miller.
Surely above the law.

Just another day in a failed state.

Oh Goody, We passed the IMF Test!

The Managing Director of the IMF is coming to Jamaica.
Oh Joy!
The Prime Minister is gloating.
We've passed our tests!

The JPS is running around cutting off the lights for
poor people, there are no jobs, prices have gone up
and businesses are failing.

Oh Goody!
We passed the IMF Test!

Business people can't find cash. Where 20k was nothing
to them five years ago, they have to pay that out in
tranches.

Everything is knife edge.
Managers man cash registers because they can't afford
to hire another worker.

Professionals are fighting over jobs they wouldn't of
sniffed at years ago, teaching courses here and there so
they can pay their light bill.

But we've passed the IMF Test!

Billions of dollars down the drain on building a highway
but figuring to recoup by charging exorbitant tolls, but
the highway is sinking.

Nurses and Teachers and Police complain about their pay
contra prices, and the government had no money.

But we passed the IMF Test.

I'm so thrilled.

Onward to Facism

When a government feels threatened, the reaction
is often to strip civil rights from those who
speak out.

The press is often excluded; information
carefully packaged before release. Laws passed
to make reporting on certain issues illegal.

Lawyers are often constrained by various
regulations to keep them from their clients,
or from viewing certain proceedings so that a
trial is more show than real.

Bills are placed before Parliament which will strip
rights from citizens in return for better 'security'.

The term 'security' has been used by every fascist
state as their reason for assuming more power.

This 'temporary' condition lasts forever, and people
become accustomed to having less rights. Taking the
constriction as the price they pay for safety.

The Bruce Golding government is a textbook example of
the genesis of a fascist state.

By refusing to extradite Chris Coke in August of 2009,
Golding granted carte blanche to those supporters of
Coke who needed to firm up their control of various areas.

Crime increased and it seemed that the police were
'powerless' to do anything, as the communities chosen
were often remote.

Why Golding protected Coke from August 2009 to May 2010
will be uncovered in time. Speculations abound, many
close to true.

When Golding decided to go after Coke, it was not
Chris Coke qua Chris Coke he was going after.
It was to create a situation in which he could declare a
State of Emergency and gather more power to his chest.

The public, frightened by events had made the less aware
believing civil war eminent so were pleased to get a
State of Emergency.

A clownish PNP MP named Sharon Hay Webster actually
requested one be engaged in her constituency.

This is to prove the efficacy of creating a situation of
fear and then offering unnecessary force to suppress it.

Fortunately, the six crime bills that Golding had desired
to pass (which is part of the reason why the Coke situation
was created)were defeated, because there are still those
with working brains in Jamaica, who 'got' the facts right.

The lies being fed to the Jamaican people by the
Minister of Information, Douglas Vaz are not eaten.
This is because Golding does not appreciate that
every time Vaz goes to lie he breaks eye contact and twitches.

The viewing public sees this and knows that what is
coming out of Vaz's mouth is garbage.

As Golding has a dearth of useful flunkies, he appoints
a rabid rat, Dwight Nelson, as his Minister of Security.
This is a guy so physically pathetic one knows he has
never held power before so will behave as one can expect
from an angry victim.

Golding's plan is to suspend elections. He's softened the
public up with the Coke debacle, and will, in about a
year, have another incident, which will allow him to
avoid calling elections, so he can cling to power and
fill his pockets even further.

Rather odd that the PNP left office with full coffers,
and within 18 months of Goldings arrival they were empty.

Now that Chris Coke is out of the picture, there are
others Golding will go after. Fortunately, he stays
amongst his own followers as he appreciates going after
PNP supporters will result in opposition.

Keep your eyes on Jamaica.
You are seeing how it begins, how it is fed, and will see
how it manifests, as Jamaica joins Zimbabwe.
